Thai Lemon Grass Rice







Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4 people








Ingredients:

1 cup of rice
1-2 lemongrass stems(washed and chopped)
2 cups of water
Salt as required
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

Method:


  • Clean, wash and soak the rice in water for 15 minutes.
  • Take a pan, add oil, heat on medium flame, add rice and saute till it becomes nutty.
  • Now add lemongrass stalks, saute for a minute.
  • Add water, salt and cook for 10 minutes on high flame.
  • Cover with a lid and allow to cook at a standing time of minutes on low flame.
  • Before serving you can remove the lemongrass and enjoy it with any thai curry.
