Urad Vada



Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Serves: 4 people









Ingredients:

1 cup urad dal (soaked overnight)

1 small-sized tomato (roughly chopped)

1-inch ginger

2-3 green chilies

1/8 coriander leaves

Salt as required

Oil for frying


Method:

  • Grind the urad dal with ginger, green chilies, tomato, and coriander leaves.
  • Add 2-3 tablespoons of water if required. Add hot oil and keep aside for 20 minutes.
  • Now take a pan add oil and heat on high flame.
  • Fry the vada till golden brown.
  • Serve with sambar and coconut chutney.
